It's been nearly a year since I started this piece on pencil and paper. Originally it was only going to be a sketch to keep me flexible while I was working on another piece (less abstract, a nude done in a similar style), but I slowly fell in love with it and even came to work on it more often than the nude. Even as it's at this form, I'm looking down at the still-uncompleted sketch of the nude. Once these pieces are in sketch form, I tediously construct the vector. I'll actually transfer this to canvas with nothing more than a vinyl stencil and an airbrush.

I think its the energy that I see.. A mass confusion of chaos.. And yet very alive at the same time..

Thanks so much! To me, this piece is the essence of my favorite style. I see a sort of energy there, too, but mostly because of the countless hours it took me to sketch, and then build node by node... I'm glad that other people (or at least a person) can see it too!

Yes I love that this piece is alive.. And it seems to be saying so much.. About you.. Who you really are.. Just that I can't put my finger on it yet.. Can't unravel the mystery..

So it becomes even more intriguing.
